About
The Cambridge Charity Auction is a unique event run in association with Cambridge Rag. Lot's are donated from local businesses, Cambridge Alumni and Colleges at the University. The auction is set up to involve the whole community with something on offer for everyone. All the money raised from the lots goes towards our chosen charities seen below.
Last year, by holding a whole host of fundraising activities such as sponsored bungee jumping, parachuting, Blind Date, comedy nights, Jailbreak and of course the Cambridge Carnival, Cambridge RAG raised a record £155,000 for 120 local, national and international charities. This year, with the aid of similar activities and the Cambridge Charity Auction, it is hoped that even more can be donated.
This year's charities can be seen below:
- Action Against Hunger
- Action for Children in Conflict
- Akany Avoko
- Alzheimer's Research
- Amnesty International
- Anti-Slavery International
- Arthur Rank Hospice
- British Red Cross
